Katie's vision of the future

Katie drew this in school the other day. She said it's a picture of Doug, her and Zoe when they are 13, 11 and 7 respectively (she didn't actually use the word "respectively." I just threw that in). I think it's cute that they are all holding hands.

In other news, we have (I think) completed our care package to send to the orphanage. We have:

• an outfit for Zoe (we hope she'll be wearing it on gotcha day)
• a photo book with pictures of all of us in it
• a soft pink blanket
• a disposable camera with printed instructions, written in Chinese and English (Lisa found this online)
• a questionnaire for the nannies
• a soft baby doll

Now, its time to wrap it up and send it off.

Love Katie's artwork! How funny that she picked a future vision. (I hope she's enjoying Kindergarten so far.) Mia was reading over my shoulder and didn't realize ya'll had your own website. She thought I was reading some other family's story and she thought it was wild that the kids names matched your family. LOL
